In EISD I have taught 6^th and 7^th grade math, but this year I’m starting a new adventure teaching 6^th grade TechApps. I’m starting my 20^th year teaching and my sixth in Eustace ISD. I love teaching middle schoolers!

I started my teaching career in Sanger ISD, teaching kindergarten for two years. During that time, I obtained my certification in 4th-8^th grade. After that, I moved to Lake Dallas where I taught 5^th and 2^nd grades. I’ve taught self-contained, team, and departmentalized formats.

My husband and I have been married since 2003, and will soon celebrate our 21^st anniversary. We have one child, a boy, who is “finally” a teenager!  Fun fact: My parents are our next-door neighbors!

We have one dog named Chewy and he is five. We also have one outside cat and two indoor kittens.

I love to craft, go to Michaels/Hobby Lobby, read, and color. I am also an avid Animal Crossing player on the Switch. We also love the Texas Rangers and try to get to as many games as we can during the season. I LOVE coffee and gummy/fruity candy—especially sour patch kids!
