About Me

Education

Educational History:

I graduated fron Iowa Park High School in 1998. I earned a B.A. in History from Midwestern State University in 2003. Many years later, I earned my Master’s Degree in History from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2017.

Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelor of Arts, Midwestern State Univeristy, 2003

Master of Arts, University of Texas at Tyler, 2017. 

Current Position:

I started teaching at Eustace Middle School in 2011. This is my 14th year of teaching for Eustace ISD and my 18th year overall. I am currently teaching 8th Grade US History.

Previous Position:

I started teaching in 2005 for Crossroads ISD for five years. in 2010 I moved to Eustace HS for one year before moving to the Middle School.

Family Information:

I married my wife Nikki in 2017, and we have a 4 year old boy named Zander. Nikki teaches Kindergarten Grade at Inram Elemetary School in Ferris, TX. I also have a son, Lawson, who is a Senior in Tyler.

Personal Information:

When I am not teaching, you can usually find me in a deer stand. I also like to read history. I am currently writing a book about World War II. I am also a huge college football fan.
