6th Grade Science
Mrs. Herring graduated from high school with honors from Leon I.S.D. in Jewett, Texas. She then went on to further her education at Sam Houston State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree. After serveral years in the human service field; she decided for a career change and went through iTeach Texas to earn her teaching certification as a 4-8 Generalist.
She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice.

Mrs. Herring started teaching at Eustace Middle School in the Fall of 2013 as a 7th Grade English Language Arts for 4 years. She started teaching 6th Grade Science in the Fall of 2017. This is her 8th year teaching 6th grade Science.
Prior to teaching Mrs. Herring worked for the Andrews Center as a Rehab Casemanager for over five years. She also worked as a Treatment Technician for a long term residential treatment center for drugs and alcohol. While she was in college she worked as a Correctional Officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division.
Mrs. Herring has been married for over 25 years and has two grown daughters, both graduated from Eustace.
Mrs. Herring has hobbies doing arts and crafts; golf and traveling to new places across the country during the summer.
